Our home town of Ashland, Oregon has launched a bold new incentive program to encourage as many residents as possible to ride an electric bike. The intent is to embrace solutions for transportation and simultaneously address, on a local level, the broader issue of climate change.
With such an energetic and enthusiastic community already committed to the health advantages of riding an eBike, and the reduced load on transportation infrastructure that bikes and electric bikes create, Ashland is betting that adding a significant financial incentive to the purchase of an eBike will further inspire locals to leave the car at home.
Almost every electric bike in our shop is eligible for this cash rebate. With extremely dependable, Bosch-equipped European-built bikes starting at $2,299, an eBike is now a viable primary or secondary vehicle option for any household.
The city of Ashland has also wisely included cargo and family bikes in the rebate program. Residents purchasing these kid-haulers and workhorse eBikes will now earn a $600 rebate on bikes in this category.
